that won't loosen during routine use. Snap Tight soft-sealing eartips
feature a surface treatment that increases surface lubricity for better
performance and easier care.

Answer:
Ribbed eartubes on all Littmann stethoscopes manufactured after May 1994 offer a “Snap-tight” fit that will not loosen during routine use. Littmann stethoscopes manufactured before May 1994 feature a threaded eartip design.
Please note: “Threaded” eartips have been discontinued and are no longer available.

How do I determine the color of eartips to order:
Answer:
Black is used for black tubed stethoscopes. Gray is used for gray or colored tubed stethoscopes. Firm tips are available in gray only.
